Upcoming public information events
We are holding public information events regarding the project’s emergency Response Plans for the Battery Energy Storage System at Cleve Hill Solar Park on 30th April and 8th May.
Preparatory civil works for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) are currently underway and will be completed in May/June.
The construction delivery team is working to ensure that all obligations within the Battery Safety Management Plan (BSMP) are met before batteries arrive on site. Deliveries are due to take place between mid-June and late July, using standard HGVs (no abnormal load deliveries are required).
All safety requirements set out in the BSMP will continue to be met following the delivery and installation of the batteries.
Two public information events on the Emergency Response Plans for the construction and operational phases of the BESS are taking place in Graveney Village Hall:
Wednesday 30 April 4pm – 8pm
Thursday 8 May 4.30pm – 8pm
These are drop-in events open to all. Residents will receive invitation letters and follow-up information packs by post.
